Join us as we celebrate 38 years of First Mondays, curated by Artistic Director Laurence Lesser. This Fall season, First Mondays will feature music from France.

In this program, Laurence Lesser will be performing Debussy’s Cello Sonata with Motti Fang-Bentov, piano.

A special message from Laurence Lesser himself: “I am playing in this concert for the first time in public since before the pandemic began. The Debussy Sonate captured me a long time ago. I included it in my New York debut recital in 1968. Preparing it for this concert has made me notice how much more there was for me to learn about it since then. I am privileged to have this chance.“
